Subjects: I specialise in Law. I have a previous background as a solicitor, and now have proofreading experience of legal textbooks and other legal documents, particularly for OUP.

About me: I spent 13 years working as a property lawyer with large commercial law firms, 1981 to 1994. The world of paid work was replaced by the world of home and childcare for an equal number of years before I started freelance working as a proofreader in 2008. I am an Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.
